Being a show dog at Karen's is hard work.
There is no one to play with us.
Very hard work indeed...
"I cannot think of any person I trust more to show my dogs then Karen. Karen has obtained championship titles on two of our Newfoundlands and is currently working on number three. Her professionalism and handling abilities are top of the line. even more important is the fact that my dogs love her and to me that is so important that the show experience is a pleasant one for both dog and handler. I have and will continue to recommend Karen booth to anyone looking for an excellent handler and friend to you and your dog."
"Karen has been showing my flat-coated retrievers since 2003. The first time she showed bravo, Karen put on his first points at 7 months old - a 3 point major! Bravo loved her from the moment she took the leash. He would see her at a show or coming to pick him up at our house for a road trip and he would forget we even existed. bravo was a high drive, energetic dog and Karen brought out his best every time she showed him.
Not only does Karen show my dogs, but she provides excellent guidance on selecting the right judges for my dogs based on her experience showing other sporting dogs. she does a great job grooming and preparing the dogs for the ring and never stops working when she is in the ring with them.
I am very careful choosing people to work with my dogs whether it is obedience, hunt training, agility or confirmation. She is currently showing my youngest FCR, Rebar. I would not hesitate to recommend Karen if you are looking for a handler for your dogs."

"My husband and I were new to confirmation and we wanted a handler that took the time to know our dog's strengths and weaknesses. Karen Booth was the perfect person. she immediately formed a bond with CeCe and it didn't take long for them to become a team in the ring. Karen's more than 20 years of showing experience was immediately evident. We enthusiastically recommend Karen to anyone looking for a professional and caring handler."

I started showing dogs as a Junior handler in 1989, giving me 25 years of experience training, conditioning, grooming and showing dogs from the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Show to shows small and in between. CPS is not a walk in the ring service, we carefully train and condition our show dogs to reach their peak performance and get the title our owners expect.
This training starts at our beautiful home in Westlake, Ohio. We live on a picturesque tree lined street with an ample back yard and exercise area. We do not "kennel" our dogs, we provide them with the same loving attention our own animals receive. We believe this creates a wonderful bond between handler and dog that brings out the very best in them.
Our show dogs ride and stay in comfort when on the road, in a 31' fifth wheel camper. For smaller shows we have vans specially outfitted by Canine Traveler for a safe and comfortable show experience.
We can never have any fun.
